Hotel Santa Chiara overlooks the Grand Canal, the Train Station and Piazzale Roma (the only part of Venice reachable by car). It’s also very close to the cruise terminal and few minutes by car from the Marco Polo airport. It is the only hotel in Venice with private parking (on request). It is few minutes walk from San Marco square (or few minutes by water bus, which stops almost in front of the hotel). It has just been renovated to provide a perfect mix between a 500 year old monastery and a modern marble building! The two buildings are attached and are one big building even if from outside they looks two completely different things. The furniture reflects a mix of modern and venetian décor with a lot of charm and attention on every detail.  The breakfast room, the bar and the lobby overlook the Grand Canal! They also have a rooftop terrace on the white section which is also overlooking the Grand Canal. The area is full of attractions with Santa Croce in the historical center. It boasts location by facing the Church of the Scalzi and the Church of San Simeon Piccolo, a 10-minute walk from museums (natural history museum, Jewish ghetto, great school of San Rocco, big school of the Carmini, Ca ‘rezzonico, etc .. .), churches (San Pantalon, San Simeone, Basilica dei Frari, church of San Rocco, church of the Carmini, church of the angel Raffaele …), shops, restaurants and bars of all kinds and for all pockets.

Palazzo Stern (4 Stars Superior)

Palazzo Stern is a Moorish Palazzo facing the Grand Canal, once private house of an Art Trader and Collector (Ernesta Stern). It’s a small property, a real jewel in the heart of the city and cured in every detail. It has been completely restored and is full of pieces of art including: Sculptures, Paintings, Mosaics! Close enough to San Marco to be able to walk there in less than 10 minutes but in an area which is still very venetian and full of local life.  It has a beautiful unique terrace at the same level of the Grand Canal, the perfect venue to enjoy your breakfast or for a drink during the day. And it’s a great venue for weddings or for any other special event!  It has also a rooftop terrace with a hot tub, which provides a great place to relax after a day exploring Venice. Many of the rooms are big enough to accommodate 4 people. This is a very unique hotel. It’s very easy to reach as it has a private landing for the boats and the vaporetto stop is just beside the entrance (the name is Ca’ Rezzonico and also the public shuttle to the airport arrives here).

Locanda Vivaldi (4 Stars Superior)

The Locanda Vivaldi is the historic residence of composer Antonio Vivaldi and is facing Riva Degli Schiavoni, the Basin of San Marco, and only 150 meters from Saint Mark Square and Dogi Palace. It’s a boutique hotel, with most of the rooms overlooking the water (the Basin of San Marco or the small Canal Rio dei Greci). It has a private landing for the taxi and it is close to the vaporetto stop. It’s very easy to reach the hotel. During the summer, the Rooftop Terrace (which overlooks the Basin of San Marco) there is the restaurant Prete Rosso, an exclusive service for our guests. The view from Locanda Vivaldi is magnificent!  Ranging from the columns of St. Mark’s Square, the Dogana, the Giudecca island with the nearby island of San Giorgio to the Lido of Venice. • Historical Regatta: September 5th, 2021
  • Main appointment of Voga alla Veneta competitions and famous historical procession preceding the competitions: a parade of dozens and dozens of typical sixteenth-century boats, multicolored and with costumed gondoliers. We give the opportunity to reserve a table on the terrace of the Palazzo Stern hotel, on the Grand Canal, to enjoy this beautiful show. • New Year’s Eve dinner: December 31, 2021
