Built in 1841 as a Victorian gentleman’s country residence, Augill Castle was purchased by current owners Wendy and Simon Bennett in 1997 and has since been sympathetically restored into a romantic turreted hideaway. Set in 20 acres of natural grounds with far reaching views of the Yorkshire Dales and Lakeland Fells beyond, Augill Castle is certainly not an impersonal full-service hotel but a country guest house in its truest sense. We are the only wholesaler with this property contracted.
