DAY 1 

Arrival to Vienna. Overnight in Vienna. 

DAY 2 

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning pick up from your guide and driver for Half Day City Tour including Schönbrunn Palace. This tour will provide an overall impression of the most significant sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse admire numerous magnificent buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the Museums Quartier, the former Habsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The highlight of the tour will be a visit of the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg family. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight in Vienna. 

DAY 3 

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning pick up from your guide for half day Culinary Walking Tour. The markets in Vienna play an important role in the culinary and social life of the city. Vienna’s best-known market has around 120 market stands and restaurants for a colorful culinary offering 

ranging from Viennese to Indian, from Vietnamese to Italian. The Naschmarkt has developed into a meeting point for young and old. On the Naschmarkt, a colorful crowd buys fruit, vegetables and various delicacies from every country from dawn till dusk. Increasing numbers of trendy “in” places are also finding somewhere to set up in the more than 120 market stands. You will have the chance to sample some local culinary products and delights. Certainly you should not miss out trying one of the various sausage variations at a traditional Würstelstand (sausage stand) and you will taste several typical Austrian wines. While walking through Vienna your guide will tell you a lot of anecdotes about Viennese personalities and their favorite dishes as well as traditional products of Vienna. But no culinary tour will be complete without coffee and cake. The Viennese coffee house is known around the globe for its informal pleasantness, as an oasis of gemütlichkeit. Since 2011, the traditional Viennese coffee house culture has even belonged to the intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO. You will taste one of the numerous coffee variation completed with a piece of cake according to your selection. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight in Vienna. 

DAY 4 

Breakfast at hotel. Morning free at leisure. In the afternoon pick up from your guide and driver for half day Vineyards Tour. Spend your day sampling excellent Austrian wines produced just outside of Vienna on a half day tour, accompanied by a private driver and a wine-specialist guide. After meeting your guide, head to the Weingut Wieninger winery in Stammersdorf. During the ride to the winery we will begin to learn the rich history of wine in this region. Wieningers winery is a family run business 

with a reputation as one of the best in Vienna. We will view the transformation of an old monastery cellar into a modern facilty to produce a variety of wines. After touring the facilities, the specialist will conduct a tasting of 6 to 8 wines, explaining the growing and production process and taking us through the basic characteristics of Austrian wine. We then drive to the Mayer am Pfarrplatz, which is a Heuriger. The Heurigen are traditional wine taverns, are characteristic of the region and serve only their own food and wine. Here we will taste another 6 wines and after it enjoy the dinner there, traditional meats and cheeses. At the end of our time, we will come away with a strong sense of Vienna´s viticulture and it´s role in the gastronomic history of Austria. Overnight in Vienna. 

DAY 5 

Breakfast at hotel and check-out. Private transfer with driver guide from Vienna to Salzburg via Danube Valley. This morning you will meet your private driver guide and leave Vienna heading to Salzburg via Danube Valley. On the way, you will discover and experience the charm of the world-renowned cultural landscape of Danube Valley. The tour will begin at the charming small city of Krems and Dürnstein with its mix of medieval flair, baroque fashion. Continue along the Danube Valley, stopping at Emmersdorf an der Donau, where you will enjoy a 3-course-lunch with wine in a traditional local restaurant near the Danube. On the last stop before reaching Salzburg, you will pay a visit to Melk Abbey, a grand Benedictine monastery high above the town of Melk. Arrive in Salzburg late afternoon. Check-in Hotel and overnight in Salzburg. 

DAY 6 

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning pick up from your guide for a half day Walking Tour including Mozart Residence and Fortress Hohensalzburg. Enjoy a 4hrs walking tour through the baroque city of Salzburg including entrance to Mozart Residence and Fortress Hohensalzburg. You will also see other important sights like Mirabell castle and garden and, you will walk through the old town with Mozart´s Birthplace, horse pond, festival district, St. Peter Abbey and Salzburg Cathedral. During the tour enjoy coffee&cake in the Café Fürst. Paul Fürst opened a confectionery shop in 1884. This shop quickly became popular with Salzburg’s fashionable crowd. Paul Fürst did bring the art of confection from the metropolises of the world to Salzburg and in 1890, after extensive experimenting, he created a chocolate he named “Mozartkugel”. Enjoy their wide range of cakes and sweets with a cup of exquisite coffee. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight in Salzburg. 

Day 7 

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning pick up from your driver guide for a half day Salzkammergut Tour. On this tour you can experience the breathtaking beauty of one of Austria’s most beautiful regions – the lake district just beyond the gates of Salzburg. With a view down to Salzburg we begin our excursion to the scenic and historical landmarks of the surroundings. We will point out the impressive hunting castle Fuschl, today a luxury hotel, where the Prince and Archbishops spent many seasons. We will stroll through St Gilgen, where Mozart’s mother was born. From there you take a romantic boat cruise on the Lake to St. Wolfgang. In St. Wolfgang there is time to visit the famous winged Gothic altar by Michael Pacher and a stop at the ‘White Horse Inn’ for refreshments. On the way back we pass Castle Hüttenstein and continue to Mondsee where we see the famous wedding church of the Sound of Music. The ever changing and contrasting scenery will make this tour an unforgettable memory. Afternoon free at leisure Overnight in Salzburg. 

Day 8
