Saturday, 11th February 2023: NEW CARNIVAL EXTRAVAGANZA
8:30 pm-1:00 am Palazzo Dandolo, Hotel Monaco

The extravagance of the Carnival in just one party because Carnival in Venice means immersing yourself in another era, watching unexpected shows, and becoming a skilled dancer for a night. This masked ball with performances and costumes created only for this occasion takes place in the Ridotto Hall, the beating heart of the sumptuous 18th century Venetian carnivals, frequented by nobles, players, and adventurers of the time, such as Giacomo Casanova. The guests will be welcomed with an excellent aperitif, followed by the four-course placé dinner with regional wines. The vegetarian or meat menu option can be selected when booking. The whole evening will be accompanied by live music from the orchestra, strictly in period dress, and set the party’s rhythm with singing interludes, ballets, and evocative fantasies. The party will also feature the involvement of the guests, who, under the guidance of the dance teachers, will whirl around the hall, replicating the steps of minuets, quadrilles, and waltzes.

Saturday, 11th February 2023: THE BALL OF DREAMS
8:00 pm-3:00 am – Palazzo Ca’ Zen

The historical role of the Courtesans originally inspired this ball of the Russolo Family. Courtesans were refined, educated, intelligent, free women who lived privileges denied to others. They met with royals, ambassadors, and noblemen. During this exclusive evening in the beautiful Palazzo Ca’ Zen, you will be welcomed with a cocktail and appetizer. The dinner will be served on the Noble Floor of the Palazzo. During the ‘aperitivo’ and dinner, several performances will be inspired by history and dreams. This unforgettable night will end with an after-party with modern music (DJ).

DRESS CODE: period costume and mask.

Participate in the exclusive events of the Venice Carnival wearing a typical historical costume. Possibility to rent different types of costumes and have them delivered directly to the hotel.
