We were getting tired of the same old land trips… so for this coming season, Tourcrafters is launching a new series of land&cruise packages!
Why stick only to the mainland if you can take a luxury land&sea odyssey?
With our new land&sea packages you get the best of travel: relaxing and enjoying the panorama from your luxury cruise and doing exciting sightseeing while on land!
You can choose from several different cruises in the Mediterranean, France, Italy, Greece and much more… our special land&sea brochure is now online!

Click here to check it out!

Let me introduce our most luxurious deal, our pearl:

La Serenissima: Venice & The Adriatic Odyssey Cruise!
You will spend the first three days on land (well, more or less, depending whether or not your on a Gondola!) in beautiful, romantic Venice! Here we will take you on a walking tour, and on a special trip to Murano to see the beautiful hand-blown glass.

On the 3rd day, your will board your Luxury Yacht and set off for the breathtaking islands and the coast of Croatia, Greece and Montenegro, stopping in seven different locations! It’s tough to say which of these places is the most beautiful, but to give you an idea I can tell you about my two favorite locations that you will see on this cruise:
The first stop will be Dubrovnik in Croatia, a spectacular city made entirely of marble, except its red-tiled roofs! Here, I advise that you take your time to explore the city and, especially, that you don’t miss taking a walk on top of the city walls! The walk takes about an hour, and, if you start at about seven, you can admire the breathtaking view and take in the colors of the sunset!
You will also stop in the bay of Kotor in Montenegro. Admiring the scenery in this bay from the sea is an unforgettable experience. You will admire how the majestic Grna Gora, the black mountain that gives Montenegro it’s name, dominates the sky while almost falling into the sea. You will also admire the two small islands that are the protagonists of the bay, because they host two beautiful ancient monasteries that almost appear as if they were floating on the water! Then, last but not least, you will spend the night in the harbor of Kotor, a beautifully conserved medieval citadel-town where you can loose yourself among the picturesque alleys, and behold one of the most impressive mediaeval city walls in the world. The walls line the city and go all the way up the Crna Gora, and they made this ancient city literally impossible to conquer throughout its history!

So now that I’ve told you the part about the fun sightseeing, do you want to hear more about the relaxing?

On-board this land&cruise experience, we offer a special package for honeymooners… including:
– special discount for the bride;
– welcome bottle of sparkling wine & fruit basket at your Venice hotel;
– room upgrade in Venice (when available);
– welcome bottle of champagne on the yacht;
– romantic candle-lit dinner for two;
– free 30 minute massage for two;
– and our memoirs gift at disembarkation!

This summer is just now coming to an end, but have you had enough mediterranean fun?
Next year, book ahead and get one of our Land&Cruise deals!

Last weekend I went to the most romantic place in the world!

The view of Lake Trasimeno

It was just the sort of place that I was looking for to get away from  the big city, to relax and enjoy the company of my better half. We drove the two hour trip up from Rome, crossing the green hills of Umbria and passing by the scenic Lake Trasimeno, well know for it’s pretty green islands guarded by ancient castles. We took in the gorgeous view of the lake from the citadel town, Castiglione del Lago where we took a stroll and bought typical Tuscan homemade products. After having an expresso at a local bar with the townspeople, we set of for this gorgeous little hotel cuddled among the voluptuous tuscan hills.

The name of this charming place is Relais alla Corte del Sole, and it is an ancient monastic village which has been perfectly restored to house 18 rooms and suites. These are furnished in antique furniture with great taste providing great comfort while taking you back in time!

The tranquil quiet of the monastic life that anciently took place in these grounds has been conserved at its best but revisited in a romantic key. The rooms and suites are spread about in a gorgeous flower garden where you can stroll inebriated by the scent of roses and jasmine as you delight your sight. The hotel’s pool is surrounded by soft green grass and by a big orchard where apricot trees shade you as you relax by the waterside. You can even pick an apricot and savor the genuine taste of the countryside’s products as you dip your feet in the clear blue water.

In the evening you can book a table at the hotel’s restaurant L’Essenza, and savor rich dishes that revisit traditional italian cuisine in a  sophisticated key, mixing the flavors of fresh countryside products to find perfection in taste! I had a wonderful homemade pasta topped with rabbit ragout and grilled vegetables straight from the orchard… it was unforgettable!
In the wintertime, it’s possible to make a special request to eat in the hotel’s wine cellar by the fireplace. Here you can taste gourmet treats surrounded by a special collection of hundreds of bottles of wine!

Year round, Relais alla Corte del Sole is the perfect place for lovebirds…

It’s also a great place to take the big step, and to get married with your soulmate! Expert wedding planners can set up your marriage ceremony, and Relais alla Corte del Sole can host your wedding party in it’s beautiful banquet hall called La Limonaia.

It’s the ideal place to relax, and indulge in romance and love …
