This wine tasting is dedicated to Campania, and, accompanied by a charcuterie board with typical cheese and cold cuts, you will be introduced to the tasting of three of the most representative wines of the region.

Campania is a region blessed with a huge variety of soils, due to the presence of volcanic rocks coming from Mount Vesuvius and the Phlegreian Fields and also different types of limestone, due to the emersion of the sea floor. On these soils, a corresponding wide variety of native vines have been trained since Antiquity.

Italy has an endless variety of wine soils, ranging from sandy to clay, from limestone to volcanic, and every region has its share of at least a couple of them, enriched and make unique by several factors, like height, vicinity to the sea or climate.

Native and nonindigenous, own-rooted and grafted, high-trained or low-trained: the grapevines’ panorama is truly vast, heterogeneous and definitely worth the journey you will undertake today.

Through the tasting of six wines from different regions, you will have a good idea of the variety of acidity, tannin, alcohol and sweetness that the Italian terroirs can offer.
