Private Salzburg Tour With Pickup

Departing from Vienna by private car, we drive through the Vienna Woods to the famous Lake District (a World Heritage Site) with its mountain lakes and romantic villages. You will recognize many places from the movie “Smiles and Tears.” On Lake Traunsee, the first stop is made to take unforgettable photos of the region.

We will then visit St. Gilgen, the birthplace of Mozart’s mother. From St. Gilgen, we go to Salzburg, and after a panoramic tour, we continue walking.

In the historic center of Salzburg, you will see Mirabell Palace and Mirabell Gardens, the square called Makartplatz with Mozart’s residence.

We will walk through the old town’s squares and on the main street Getreidegasse with Mozart’s birthplace. We then cross the Salzach River to see the Festival Hall, Saint Peter’s Benedictine Abbey, Hohen Salzburg Fortress, the Cathedral, and the Residence. After the walk, you will have the opportunity to have lunch and go shopping. You can also go to the impressive Hohensalzburg Fortress by cable car or enter the Mozart museum.

After the walking tour, you can spend a couple of hours in Salzburg for lunch, go shopping, or explore the city on your own. Visit the Mozart museum or ride up to the imposing Hohensalzburg Fortress on the funicular. An unforgettable excursion!
