Your private escort and water taxi take you to Piazzale Roma, where you meet your driving escort for a day dedicated to explore to one of Italy’s most renowned wine regions. During the tour, your driving escort will provide background information and context on the area and its development. 

The landscape you drive through is a succession of rolling hills and gentle slopes, all covered by glera, the grape variety that is used to produce prosecco. 

What makes prosecco different from other wines is its vinification, carried out through fermentation in high pressure tank. The rapidity of this process allows the wine to retain unique freshness and flavors, and this makes it palatable and easily paired with any type of food. 

After a pleasant drive immersed in any wine-lover’s dream scenery, stop at one of the region’s historical wine estates to taste their wine and to hear their history, started in the 16th century, abruptly interrupted when the area fell on WWI front and patiently reinstated after its end. 

The tour will continue to a family-run holiday farm, to lay back and relish a meal made with local ingredients, and to discover a cuisine that, although less known than others, is equally worth to be experienced. 

After lunch, return to Piazzale Roma, where the tour ends. From there, passengers will make their own way to the hotel.
