DAY 2
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning pick up from your guide for a half day walking tour to escape the usual tourist haunts of Prague and discover how the Velvet Revolution gave the Czech Republic the freedom to express itself in art, music, and life in general. This off the beaten track tour will take you to discover the art, the design, the street art scene, and learn about the underground subcultures that reside in the city. Get to know how the Czech society changed after the fall of Communism, how the Czech minorities live in Prague –such as the Vietnamese community. Among the visits of this everchanging tour, you will get to know a community-funded art theater nestled in a former slaughterhouse and cafés where Czech designers show their work. DAY 3
Breakfast at hotel. Today you enjoy a private full day vineyards and landscape excursion. You will visit stunning vineyards where you can soak up some wine tradition and culture of the Czech countryside. Visit a local winery and learn about the process of wine-making and the work that goes into it. Enjoy tastings and eat local cuisine. Have a relaxing picnic in one of the astonishing vineyards. Your guide will prepare everything beforehand, including a bottle of wine for you and leave you for a romantic moment. Or he can stay around and talk to you about life in the Czech Republic, its past and present history, or anything you are interested in. See the breathtaking lookouts of the volcanoes and mountains in the horizon. You will hardly find a landscape more photogenic in the Czech Republic. After the picnic (or a la carte lunch in a restaurant in case of bad weather) discover a Jewish cemetery, hidden in a middle of a vineyard, and a medieval castle standing just above another one. DAY 4
Breakfast at hotel. Today you will learn during this four hour activity how to cook a traditional Czech meal guided through it by a Czech chef. This activity usually kicks off at 9AM with a market tour with your chef. After the tour, you will head into the studio to start with the cooking class, which will consist of the preparation of a 3-course Czech meal of your choosing. After all has been successfully cooked and prepared, you will enjoy the fruits of your labor, which will sure taste great. Overnight in Prague 4*Hotel 987 Design or similar.

DAY 6
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning pick up from your guide for a half day music walking tour of Vienna. Vienna has always been attractive to many famous composers who either were born there or decided to work there and the city was extremely influenced by these celebrities and their music. Experience Vienna, the world’s capital of music, by tracing the footsteps of some of the famous composers who have lived and worked here – and often stayed forever: Ludwig van Beethoven, Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Arnold Schoenberg, Franz Schubert, Johann Strauss senior and junior, Antonio Vivaldi and many more. Many of these artists knew each other, were students, teachers or patrons of each other, and were friends. These relationships gave rise to numerous anecdotes that further enhance the charm of the original locations. During the tour you will also visit Figaro House – House – a museum which contains the only apartment of W.A. Mozart in Vienna that is still left. Day 7
Breakfast at hotel. Today you enjoy a half day tour Wines of Austria – see the most historic wine estate of Austria. Welcome to Austria’s oldest wine estate – the monastery of Klosterneuburg! On the way to Klosterneuburg you will pass of some of Vienna’s most important wine locations like Neustift and Grinzing. Upon arrival in Klosterneuburg enjoy a fantastic tour which leads visitors on an atmospheric and informative exploration of the baroque cellar complex which, supported by metre-thick brick walls, reaches down to a depth of up to 36 metres. Here, at Austria’s oldest winery, one can uniquely experience the connection between a centuries-old wine-growing tradition and the most modern winery technology. The guided tour elucidates the 900-year history of wine production in Klosterneuburg. Highlights of the tour will be the baroque wine cellar, the fermenting cellar, the press house (once the 14th century church) and a film on the Klosterneuburg Monastery wine. At the end of the tour, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting in the monastery vinotheque, a cellar vault dating from the 12th century. This 4-hour tour takes you along the classical sweet delights of Vienna, pampering you with all the different varieties of Viennese haute cuisine within the world of sweets. During the strolls from one place to the other you will be amused with different stories regarding Vienna’s sweet history. To start your sweet journey you will be offered a coffee and a cake in one of Vienna’s most prestigious coffeehouses, well known for many artists and famous people who lived/visited Vienna in the days of the former emperor. Stories regarding the very place are accompanying your delightful coffee or if preferred hot chocolate or tea, together with a piece of their house speciality. To digest the sweet start we take a little walk to our next stop, a hidden gem of Vienna’s best chocolate preparation. These chocolates are coming without any preservatives, handmade and packed lovingly in beautiful little cases – perfect for those who miss you during your trip or
for yourself – as a sweet little memory. As the shop specializes in miniature chocolates, you will be able to taste a great variety of their produce and enjoy the lush endorphin rush that magically will put a smile into your mind. A visit to Vienna is not complete without stopping at the shop with the one and only widest selection of the most beloved Viennese wafers, so on our way to the next part of the tour you will be offered a little tasting of the sweet squares. After enjoying all those delicacies along the secret and sweet routes of Vienna, we take a seat in one of the oldest coffeehouses in town, a place that not only offers the classical Viennese politeness but also the places own personal idea of how to prepare a dessert.
