Day 1: Welcome to Scotland: Arrive at Edinburgh Airport. Transfer to your Edinburgh hotel under your own arrangements. You are free to explore the city at your leisure this afternoon. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel. Overnight: Edinburgh (Dinner, bed & breakfast)
Day 2: Edinburgh to Aberdeen: Today you will meet with your driver and English speaking guide and depart Edinburgh for Aberdeen. En route, stop in St Andrews for a walking tour. Known worldwide as The Home of Golf, the town also boasts Scotland’s oldest university. Enjoy some free time in St Adrews before continuing to Aberdeen where you will check into your hotel. Overnight: Aberdeen (Bed & breakfast)
Day 3: Aberdeen Area: This morning visit Dunnattor Castle. Aromatic, evocative and historically significant ruined castle perched on a giant conglomerate on the edge of the North-Sea. This is a once seen-never forgotten opportunity. Return to Aberdeen for free time this afternoon. Overnight: Aberdeen (Bed & breakfast)
Day 4: Aberdeen to Aviemore: Today you will depart your hotel in Aberdeen. First visit Glenfiddich Distillery. On this tour, you’ll go on a journey through every part of the Glenfiddich tradition, to find out how the world’s most awarded whiskies are created. The special conclusion to this visit is a tutored nosing and tasting of three of our world-renowned single malts. Next stop at Leault Farm for a Sheepdog Demonstration. During a 45-minute demonstration, amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland, you will see up to eight dogs working as a team maneuvering sheep and ducks through various obstacles. Continue to your hotel and check-in. Overnight: Aviemore (Dinner, bed & breakfast)
Day 5: Inverness Area: This morning enjoy a cruise on Loch Ness where you will have the opportunity to spot Nessie! Next visit Urquhart Castle. Urquhart Castle offers a taste of the Highlands at their most dramatic. Discover 1,000 years of drama, experience a glimpse of medieval life and enjoy stunning views over Loch Ness from the ruins of the greatest castle in the Highlands. Enjoy some free time in Inverness. Overnight: Aviemore (Dinner, bed & breakfast)
Day 6: Aviemore to Glasgow: Today you will depart the Highlands and head south to Glasgow. En route a visit The Scottish Crannog Centre. The Scottish Crannog Centre is an award-winning and interactive center which shows what Iron Age life was like with a reconstructed prehistoric loch-dwelling. Continue to Glasgow and check into your hotel. Overnight: Glasgow (Bed & breakfast)
Day 7: Glasgow to Edinburgh: This morning enjoy a Glasgow City Tour. Discover Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city, with a panoramic city tour. From the magnificent St Mungo Cathedral to the People’s Palace and Glasgow Green, explore Glasgow rich past as a religious center and one of the most important industrial cities in Britain. Visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery. One of Scotland’s most visited attractions is a magnificent building with 22 themed, state-of-the-art galleries displaying an astonishing 8000 objects. Depart Glasgow for Edinburgh and check into your hotel. Overnight: Edinburgh (Bed & breakfast)
Day 8: Edinburgh: This morning enjoy a panoramic city tour. Edinburgh is one of the world’s finest capital cities, because of its cultural diversity and impressive history. The medieval streets run through the whole city telling their own story about the 1000 year old traditions and myths of Edinburgh. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. OPTIONAL: Scottish Evening with Dinner -Supplement of GBP 70.00 per person. Overnight: Edinburgh (Bed & breakfast)
Day 9: Farewell: After a final breakfast, transfer to Edinburgh Airport under own arrangements for your departure flight home.
