DAY 1 – LONDON ARRIVAL AND WINDSOR

Arrive into your London airport and pick up your rental car. Continue to the Windsor area and start exploring the Great West Way. If time allows, enjoy a hop on hop off sightseeing tour of Windsor and Eton or visit Windsor Castle, the home of the Royal Family, where Prince Harry married Meghan. Overnight in the Windsor area.

DAY 2 – STONEHENGE AND SALISBURY

Continue your exploration of the Great West Way today. You may choose to stop at Bombay Sapphire Distillery to learn about making gin. Just south of the Great West Way, why not visit prehistoric Stonehenge – part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site – before continuing to Salisbury. On arrival into Salisbury, take a walk around this picturesque market town and stop by Salisbury Cathedral for a visit or for photos of the tallest cathedral in England. Overnight in the Salisbury area

DAY 3 – SOMERSET

You may choose to head straight to Bath to experience this heritage city today, or leave the Great West Way to discover the Somerset region area of England, with the cathedral city of Wells, the alternative town of Glastonbury and the dramatic scenery of Cheddar Gorge. While in Cheddar, be sure to sample their cheese, many of which are stored in the surrounding caves. The area is also known for their cider production, and there are opportunities to visit a cider farm to learn about the cider making process, before continuing to Bath to re-join the Great West Way. Overnight in the Bath area

DAY 4 – BATH

This morning take a walk around Bath, one of the most beautiful and recognisable cities in England, and why not visit the historic Roman Baths before starting your drive back east? Along the way, you may choose to explore one of the many pretty Cotswolds villages in the area, such as Castle Combe and Lacock, or stop in Avebury, a small village within a standing stone circle, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with Stonehenge. Overnight in the Swindon / South Cotswolds area

DAY 5 – LONDON

Continue your drive back to the London airport to return your rental car and fly out of London. Or why not extend in London for a couple of nights, to explore the capital city of Britain? You may choose to take an open top sightseeing tour of London, or visit one of the many famous attractions such as the tower of London or the London Eye.
