Day 1 – Arrival in Edinburgh
Arrive in Edinburgh and explore The Old Town with all the closes and wynds leading off the Royal Mile. If time allows, you can explore Edinburgh Castle. Don’t forget to go and say hello to Greyfriar’s Bobby, the statue of a loyal dog, buried in Greyfriar’s Kirkyard.

Day 2 – Edinburgh
Discover Edinburgh today by a visit to the Edinburgh Dungeon or Dynamic Earth, where you can journey through space and time, and explore what created the earth.

Day 3 – Edinburgh to Pitlochry
Depart northwards today and you can stop in Birnam to visit the Beatrix Potter Exhibition – step back in time into a Victorian classroom, and put on your own puppet show featuring Peter Rabbit and friends! Continue to Pitlochry and check-in.

Overnight: Pitlochry area

Day 4 – Pitlochry to Inverness
Continue your drive north to Inverness. Why not stop at the Highland Folk Museum, a free open-air museum with buildings dating back hundreds of years to explore. Arrive in Inverness where you will stay tonight.

Day 5 – Inverness to Fort William
Depart Inverness and drive along the shores of Loch Ness to visit the Loch Ness Exhibition. Learn more about the monster that lurks beneath the surface. This afternoon take the family on an exhilarating RIB ride on the loch from Fort Augustus.

Day 6 – Onboard the Harry Potter
If you are a Harry Potter fan, you cannot miss the Jacobite Steam Train – or Hogwarts Express as you would know it. Set off on the Steam Train on the West Coast Mainline, voted one of the world’s most beautiful railways, and cross the Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Overnight: Fort William area

Day 7 – Glasgow
Depart Fort William and start your drive south, through Glencoe and across Rannoch Moor. At Loch Lomond, you may want to take a cruise on the loch then continue to Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow to see Sir Roger, the Asian elephant, and a spitfire plane hanging from the ceiling.

Overnight: Glasgow area

Day 8 – Departure
Depart from the airport and your onward flight.
