15 Days / 14 Nights

Itinerary:

DAY 1: Lisbon – Evora – (Alentejo): On arrival to Lisbon airport pick up your car and drive toward Alentejo region famous for its wine. Overnight at Pousada Convento de Evora.

DAY 2-3-4-5: Lagos – Algarve: Enjoy a late breakfast then start your discovery of the region and wine cellars nearby before heading to Algarve famous for its beaches national parks and golf facilities. (about a 3 hour drive) Check at Boavista Golf Resort & Spa in Lagos.

DAY 6: Algarve – Sintra: After breakfast it is time to leave toward the north (about a 3 hour drive) to reach Sintra. Overnight at Sintra Marmoris palace or Quintas das Murtas.

DAY 7: Cascais: Enjoy the ocean views from Cascais (only a 30 minute drive) and nice fish lunch at one for the many restaurants. Overnight in Sintra.

DAY 8: Obidos. We drive again north (about a 1 hour drive) toward the central region and Obidos a classic Portuguese fortified town, and one of the most picturesque locations in Portugal. The region surrounding Obidos is as equally fascinating, there is the working fishin g port of Peniche, the pristine beaches of Lagoa de Obido. Overnight at POUSADA DO CASTELO or Casa da seinoras Rihn ass.

DAY 9: Today we drive to Coimbra, (about a 1 hour drive) a riverfront city in central Portugal and the country’s former capital, home to a preserved medieval old town and the historic University. Overnight at NS Hostel & Suites /Hotel Quinta das Lagrimas.

DAY 10-11-12: From Coimbra you have a 2 hour drive to Oporto. There is a lot to see and do in Porto. The oldest district of the city which is filled with ancient houses, narrow cobbled streets and numerous family owned restaurants, cafes and bars. The Douro River, which is the scenic backdrop to Porto and is crossed by magnificent bridges and the route for relaxing boat tours. You will decide to stay downtown or to Pestana Palacio do Freixo – Pousada & National Monument just 2 mile away from the city.

DAY 13: Guimares – Braga. On your way to Lisbon you will stop to Guimares to see the medieval castle then to Braga one of the oldest city in the country, and is teeming with young people who study at its universities. Choose to stay at Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes or in Braga at Hotel do Parque.

DAY 14: Lisbon. After breakfast drive to Lisbon (about a 3.5 hour drive) check in at hotel of your choice. Afternoon at leisure to discover the city. Day 1: Lisbon. Breakfast at hotel then drop you car at the airport and end of services.
