A luxury wine relais perfect to unwind and feel pampered, and an excellent base to visit Lake Garda and enjoy its mild micro-climate.

Self drive tour available from 01 April 2023 to 07 January 2024.

DAY 1: Verona Airport/Villa Cordevigo (approx. 30 km)
Collect your car and make your way to Villa Cordevigo Wine Relais. Situated in the heart of the Bardolino wine region, Villa Cordevigo is a beautiful 17th-century mansion, set amidst a verdant park whose century-old trees and manicured lawns create a symphony of hues and chiaroscuro that invites to wandering and reverie. A tasting of four wines selected among the over 600 labels of the cellar will give the refining touch to a seamless experience.

Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2: Villa Cordevigo/Sirmione/Villa Cordevigo (approx. 65 km)
Leave for a few hours your cocoon of relaxation, and reach the shores of Lake Garda, whose extraordinary microclimate creates a unique mixture of Alpine views and Mediterranean vegetation. Stop in Sirmione, a quaint little town with a medieval castle, the remains of a Roman villa and a tranquility that in the Fifties charmed Maria Callas. The castle displays a perfectly preserved dock dating to the 14th century, whose aim was to protect the fleet from attacks but mainly form the North-wind coming from the Alps. From Sirmione, take a boat tour along the shores, and enjoy the view of the citrus groves and of the typical “limonaie” built to shelter them in winter.

Dinner at the hotel.

Today’s recommended activity Villa Cordevigo in-house homemade pasta cooking class with lunch and wine pairing.

DAY 3: Villa Cordevigo/Verona/Villa Arvedi/Villa Cordevigo (approx. 92 km)
Dedicate this day to Verona, the main city of the area, and to one of the most beautiful villas in its surrounding. Verona’s name is worldwide known because of Romeo and Juliet. The city is much more that the scene where the two unfortunate lovers met their fate. Verona is full of history and of monuments, from the Arena, vestige of the Roman Antiquity and stage for opera performances, to the Scaliger Tombs, one of the most eminent Gothic monuments of Europe, to the imposing Basilica of Sant’Anastasia. Villa Arvedi is situated among vineyards and olive trees and is a fine example of Venetian Villa, that is a kind of building that spread in the area controlled by the Republic of Venice from the 14th century. Its interiors are bedecked with frescoes, and the courtyard features a Baroque church. A tasting of the olive oil produced in the estate is included in the visit.

Dinner at leisure.

Today’s recommended activity 3-hour walking tour of Verona.

DAY 4: Check out
