5 Days / 4 Nights

Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrival in Rome or Florence airport; pick up your car rental and drive to Villa il Patriarca in Chiusi. Dinner at the Taverna del Patriarca, Tuscan menu (Cinta Senese from own farm, homemade Tuscan pici, Tuscan Cantucci with Vinsanto)*

DAY 2: Half day cooking class, including coffee break, recipes in English, cooking apron, cooking certificate, lunch based on dishes prepared during the lesson* Dinner for 2 people at the restaurant “I Salotti” (1 Michelin star), 6 course tasting menu TERRA*

DAY 3: Tour of Montepulciano and Valdorcia including transportation with driver. Morning: walk through the historic center of the town of Vino Nobile followed by the visit of two ancient wine cellars with tasting of Rosso di Montepulciano and Nobile di Montepulciano) Afternoon in Valdorcia (Unesco world heritage site):

Visit of the sheepfold “Podere Colombaiolo” (3000 sheeps and 400 exemplars of Cinta Senese)
Visit of the factory “Pasta Panarese”, producing pasta arising from top quality grain cultivated in Valdorcia
Cheese tasting in the cheese factory “Cugusi” with tasting of Pecorino cheese

DAY 4: Visit of Siena: 2 hours visit including round trip train tickets (Chiusi-Siena). Lunch at the restaurant “Particolare” with tasting menu TERRA* Free afternoon in Siena. Return the hotel

DAY 5: Departure
