Day 1: Palermo-Cefalù: Arrive at Palermo airport and we’ll have your rental car waiting for you! You can go straight to your luxury hotel or spend time cruising around the dynamic Italian coast. For dinner, we suggest you peruse the streets and let the smell of fresh cooked pasta guide your way. Although Cefalù is full of delicious fine dining, this coastal village is famous for its street food. The morning is yours to enjoy, and we recommend visiting Museo Mandralisca, an architectural marvel with wide range of collections covering archaeology, natural history, paintings, and decorative arts. If you’d prefer something more active, try the one hour climb to La Rocca and experience the best view in all of Cefalù. For lunch, we will continue to the area of Castelbuono, a small town located about 50 kilometers from Palermo and dine at Cantine Sant’Anastasia, tasting some of the best wines produced in the region. Later in the afternoon, you have the option to visit the city of Palermo. If you chose to do this, we recommend visiting any of the stunning architectural wonders Palermo has to offer.
