DAY 2: Sunday, Turin: Breakfast (included) at the hotel and free time to visit the city of Turin on your own, the capital of the Piedmont region, a city surrounded by greenery, gently resting on the surrounding hills and embraced by the winding course of the river Po. It owes much of its charm to the enchanting geographical position at the foot of the western Alps, watched over by snow-capped mountain peaks. Widely renowned for the refinement of its architecture and cuisine, the sumptuous Baroque buildings, the ancient coffee houses that line the avenues and the great squares such as Castello Square and St Charles’ Square. It presents itself as a city with a unique charm, where emperors have passed, kingdoms were born and where power left indelible marks. Its flavor is halfway between the sobriety and the typical luxury of a nineteenth-century city with a vital and young aspect given by the many bars (coffee houses and wineries), which from Castle Square, the historic Turin lounge, proliferate throughout the city. Unique treasures of the city are the palaces that made the history of this subalpine capital: the Royal Palace, the Madama Palace and the Carignano Palace. In the afternoon, you have free time at your disposal to visit Turin. Free dinner and overnight accommodation at the hotel.

The first stop will be at the Barolo Wine Museum in the Barolo Castle, the innovative wine museum.
