Itinerary:

DAY 1: Milan – Stresa (Lake Maggiore): Pick up your car rental and head up to Stresa on Lake Maggiore. Your first stop on your Italian lakes adventure is a splendid location on Lago Maggiore in the Gulf of Borromeo that overlooks the eponymous islands, the main attraction in the region. The Borromean Islands, with their stunning palaces and ornamental gardens, are an unmissable destination for aesthetes. Luxury villas and opulent Art Nouveau hotels line the elegant lakeside, which is ideal for an easy stroll. Visit the stunning Isola Bella, which derives its fame from its stunning Baroque palace and elaborate Italian gardens. It was the crowning glory of a group of famous Italian architects in the 17th century who, thanks to generous sponsorship from the Borromeo family, were able to create a unique masterpiece. DAY 2: Stresa: After breakfast, you have the day to explore Lake Maggiore and all it’s neighboring towns. Lake Maggoire is the second largest lake in Italy, and home to some of Italy’s favorite vacation destinations, referred to as the “Eden of Italy”. Since the climate is mild year-round, the area is filled with Mediterranean vegetation and exotic plants. We recommend you visit the Borromean Islands in Lake Maggiore, a group of three gorgeous islands—Isola Bella, Isola Madre, and Isola del Pescatori—that are just across from little Stresa, which sits perched on the edge of the lake. Overnight in Stresa.

DAY 3: Stresa – Como: After breakfast, depart Stresa for your next stop Lake Como. Sitting at the base of the Alps and labelled as the third-largest lake in Italy, Lake Como’s deep blue water and stunning vistas have captured the hearts of many travelers, including various celebrities. Travel around a bit more, and you’ll find ornate centuries-old villas, elaborate gardens brimming with fragrant flowers, tiny churches and endless scenic walks and hikes. Visit one of the surrounding towns for diverse shopping, dining, and cultural experiences. Overnight in Como.

DAY 4: Como: Breakfast at your hotel. If yesterday was full of site seeing, today is all about leisure. If you’re visiting in the summer, we suggest taking a swim or soak in the beautifully blue lake water. Didn’t pack your swimsuit? Enjoy a relaxing visit to one of the many lakeside spas! If you’re more of a holiday explorer, you may want to take a trip and visit any or all the villages surrounding. Visit the silk factory and have a look where the beautiful Italian silks come from. Overnight in Como.

DAY 5: Como – Desenzano del Garda: After breakfast, you will depart Como for your last stop Lake Garda. Though not the most famous lake in Italy, it is the largest. Lake Garda is a popular destination for families and adventure enthusiasts, we there are many activities to choose from. Between the water sports, hiking, and climbing, there are accessible excursions for any age or skill level. Interested in a more relaxing day? Feel free to stroll around the picturesque streets and discover the quaint alleyways, shops, and restaurants that make Lake Garda an authentic Italian experience . Overnight in Desenzano del Garda.

DAY 6: Desenzano del Garda – Venice: After breakfast, depart for Venice to return your car rental. On the way to Venice, you may want to stop and visit, or extend your stay in the beautiful lllasi Valley. The exquisite landscape of vineyards and mountains are sure to take your breath away.
