Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrive to Naples airport or train station. Meet your driver and depart to discover the fascinating, vibrant city of Naples. Upon arrival, meet your expert guide and enjoy a 4 hour tour of the capital of Southern Italy, the city of contrasts, sun, real pizza and beautiful architecture. Taste Neapolitan street food, like “wallet pizza”, real espresso coffee, savory taralli biscuits and sfogliatella pastry. Discover the historical center with Spaccanapoli and San Gregorio Armeno, the monumental part consisting of Plebiscito square, San Carlo theater (from outside), Umberto I Gallery, Royal Palace (from outside), Maschio Angioino (from outside). The tour will end by visiting the Posillipo Hill, the most luxurious residential quarters, where one can enjoy breathtaking panorama views of Naples, Vesuvius, Sorrento Peninsula, Capri and all of Naples bay. Continue with driver to Sorrento. Arrive and check in, and plan the the day to your liking.

DAY 2: Breakfast in hotel. Meet your driver and depart for a full day discovering the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, followed by wine tasting on the slopes of volcano Vesuvius. Upon arrival to Pompeii, meet your expert guide for a 2 hour tour of excavations. Take a journey to find out how life was in the city before it was destroyed by the eruption of volcano Vesuvius in 79th AD. Get inside the Roman bathes, temples, villas, and theaters and breath the ancient atmosphere of 2000 years ago. After Pompeii, head towards Vesuvius for the vineyards situated on its slopes and enjoy typical lunch with wine pairing, while admiring the amazing panorama from birds-eye view.

Menu:

• Starter: homemade bread, cherries tomatoes from Vesuvio and extravergin oil. First dish: Pasta di Gragnano allo “Scarpariello”(pasta with tomatoes, basil, cheese).
• Second dish: selection of cold cuts and cheese, olives, season vegetables.
• Homemade dessert and Wine pairing with 5 wines.

DAY 3: Breakfast in hotel. Meet your driver and expert guide in hotel and depart for a full day visit of the Amalfi Coast, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then visit the best local wine cellar (winner of many prizes!), enjoy a delicious lunch with wine pairing  (4 course lunch with 4 types of wine) and discover breathtaking views of the picturesque coast. Visit the pearls of the coast such as Positano, Amalfi and Ravello (choice of 2 villages). Positano is a tiny picturesque village with pastel colors houses tumbling down to the turquoise sea. It has been a set for many movies and remains one of the most beloved places in the world. Amalfi, an ancient maritime republic, where the first Maritime Code was written. A must see is the beautiful Cathedral of St. Andrew! Ravello, situated 350 meters over the sea level, impresses us with its panoramas. It is also famous for its villas, like Cimbrone and villa Rufolo. The last one hosted Richard Wagner, who got inspired by the beauties of its gardens in writing the second act of his Parsiphal. Back to the hotel. Free time for dinner (not included). Overnight in Sorrento

DAY 4: Breakfast in hotel. Meet your driver at the hotel and transfer to the lemon grove for a 40 minute tour (in English) in a family-run liqueur factory in Sorrento city center. Find out everything about Sorrento lemons, a special kind with unique flavor, which is used for the preparation of “Limoncello” liquor. Learn about the history and see the demonstration of the production techniques that are followed in preparing the liqueur. While you are seated inside the production workshop, you will be served four different kinds of liqueurs to taste.  Following the tasting of the liqueurs, you will have a chance to taste “babà  al limoncello” – biscuits soaked in limoncello; one of homemade marmalade fruit jams; and finally, lemon gelato that is made from lemons grown in lemon grove. Following the tastings, you can stroll the lemon groves, or weather permitting, you can visit independently “the Arguminato” – a separate lemon grove about a 5-minute walk from the factory. After the tour, you’ll have free time to enjoy Sorrento or take an optional tour to Capri island. A transfer back to hotel for extra charge is available upon request. Overnight in hotel in Sorrento

DAY 5: Breakfast in hotel. Depart by private transfer to Naples airport or train station .
