The sense of beauty has its origins in Bellagio, you feel it all around you, in the splendor of its noble mansions and villas, in the elegance of its boutiques, in the slower pace of life of its inhabitants.

A peninsula in the heart of the lake, dividing the Como branch from that of Lecco and positioning at its extremity this characteristic village and Punta Spartivento.

During this unique walking tour we will explore Bellagio’s historic center and its marvelous and characteristic surroundings. Meet our guide near the ferry terminal and reach our first stop: Punta Spartivento, the point where lake’s three branches meet with a view of the towering alpine background. We will then walk through the picturesque and colorful steep stone alleys of the hamlet to reach the characteristic fishing village of Pescallo.

Moving on we will walk to the area where most locals live and finally reach the local Latteria (milk shop) which is dedicated to producing local cheeses made with milk exclusively from Bellagio. Stop and enjoy a tasting some local specialties like the Magro di Bellagio. You have walked 2 miles so far, you deserve it!

Say good-bye to our guide: a minivan shuttle will pick you up at the Latteria to bring you to a panoramic restaurant overlooking the rock of Bellagio: here our chef will prepare a delicious tasting of local lake fish accompanies by a glass of fresh white wine produced in Lake Como.

Enjoy the tasting and the views, maybe decide to stay for lunch and then the shuttle will bring you back to the town center: if you feel like it, use our voucher to get tickets to the beautiful botanical gardens of Villa Melzi and ask the chef to drop you off by the gates to enjoy a nice walk back to Bellagio by yourself.
