Culinary & Winery Tour

13 Days / 12 Nights

DAY 1: Arrive in Athens: Arrive in Athens and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit to the Temple of Poseidon. Dinner at local seaside restaurant. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 2: Athens Sightseeing: Morning Athens sightseeing including visit of Acropolis site and Ancient Agora. Lunch at local taverna in Plaka. Transfer back to the hotel. In the evening enjoy your dinner at Dionysos restaurant with Acropolis view.

DAY 3: Transfer to Paros: Transfer to Paros by high-speed ferry. In the evening transfer to a local restaurant for dinner. Overnight in Paros.

DAY 4: Paros: Visit of local winery, including wine tasting, snacks and visit of the grapevine. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Paros.

DAY 5: Tour of Paros: Half day island tour of Paros, including lunch at local restaurant in Lefkes village. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Paros.

DAY 6: Transfer to Santorini: Transfer to Santorini island by Highspeed ferry. Tour of traditional villages of Santorini followed by dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Santorini.

DAY 7: Santorini: Visit of local winery, including wine tasting and snacks followed by dinner at Pyrgos restaurant. Overnight in Santorini.

DAY 8: Santorini: Today you will take a cooking lesson and lunch in Selini restaurant. In the evening enjoy your dinner at Fira town. Overnight in Santorini.

DAY 9: Transfer to Heraklion: Transfer to Heraklion by ferry. In the evening transfer to a traditional village and taste traditional Cretan food and “raki” including traditional Greek and Cretan dances. Overnight in Crete.

DAY 10: Visit Knossos Palace: Visit Knossos Palace and continue for a visit to local winery, including Cretan snacks and lunch. Conclude your tour with a visit to Archanes village. Overnight in Crete.

DAY 11: Visit the village of Axos: Become familiar with traditional Crete. Visit the village of Axos. Make your own “raki” (traditional Cretan drink) and taste it, learn traditional recipies participating on their cooking, visit a traditional family loom industry including demonstration of traditional kilimia, vourgies and learn how Cretans decorate the traditional wedding bread. Enjoy your lunch cooked in traditional fire place. Conclude your day with a visit to a traditional kafenio where an 80 yrs old man sings with his lyra and tells stories about his life. Overnight in Crete.

DAY 12: Visit Thrapsanos: Visit Thrapsanos – with handmade local pottery, Peza – with its wine factory, Myrtia – with Nikos Kazatzakis museum. Lunch at one of the villages – famous for the delicious food – taverns. Overnight in Crete.

DAY 13: Departure: Transfer to airport.
