Itinerary:

DAY 1: Amsterdam: Arrival at Amsterdam airport and transfer to the hotel. Free time at your disposal. At 6:30pm, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby to go to the Brouwerij De Prael micro brewery. In the brewery’s pub, enjoy a tasting of 4 craft beers with various alcohol contents, reaching up to 11.5% vol.

DAY 2: Amsterdam (Heineken) – Tilburg (Trappist) – Antwerp: This morning, we will take an Amsterdam city tour. Get to know the production of beer through the unique Heineken Experience, without a doubt, the most famous in Holland. In 1886 the “A” type yeast was discovered, which gives the characteristic flavor to the Heineken. Afterwards, enjoy two glasses of Heineken, directly from the factory. When the Heineken tour concludes, we will travel to Tilburg, and visit the Trappist monastery. In the middle of the Trappist monastery, enjoy the only white ale trappist beer in the world. End of the day in Antwerp.

DAY 3: Antwep – Eltvelde (Triple, Blond, IPA & Lambic) – Bruges: While Belgium is a small country, it offers the largest variety of beers in the world. Todays tour will start at De Koninck brewery, known for producing the typical beer of Antwerp. We then move to the factory of the superior beers in Eltvelde. Here we will learn the art of traditional beer brewing adapted to technological advances. Accommodation in Bruges.

DAY 4: Bruges – Gent (Delirium – Strong Blond Ale) – Brussels: Today you will get the chance to view both the modern and old part of the Halve Maan brewery, the only one in the world that transports beer through a pipeline. Here we have organized a tasting of La Brugse Zot, a very tasty blond beer with high fermentation. Next we will travel to Gent and the famous Delirium brewery with exquisite Strong Blond Ale beer with 8.5% vol. Accommodation in Brussels.

DAY 5: Brussels – Leuven (Stella Artois) – Cologne (Ale): In the morning, we embark on a tour of Brussels, including the Beer Planet store, with the largest collection of Belgian beers. Afterwards we move to Leuven, for a brief visit to the city before continuing to the Stella Artois brewery, founded in 1366. Here you will taste this delicious Lager beer with 5.0% vol. We finish the day in Cologne, where we recommend dining at the typical Früh Kölsch brewery, known for its Ale beer. Accommodation in Cologne.

DAY 6: Cologne – Heidelberg – Black Forest (Lager Beer): The day begins with a short visit to the center of Cologne, then we depart to Heidelberg. Here we will visit the Abbey and Klosterhof Brewery. After a tour of the brewery you can enjoy a sample of different types of Klosterhof beer. After lunch at the Klosterhof Restaurant (not included), we travel to the famous Black Forest region, where you will have a rare and unique experience: sleeping in an authentic German inn which belongs to the craft factory of beers, Rothaus***.

Day 7: Black Forest – Hop Farm – Munich (Wheat Beer): In the morning, we depart to the Hopfengut farm No20, where, equipped with modern agricultural technology and strictly in accordance with German purity law (Reinheitsgebot in German), the best hops are produced. You will discover the ingredient that gives character and soul to beer. Afterwards, we’ve arranged a tasting of 3 special beers. We’ll end the day in Munich, where we recommend enjoy a wheat beer (in German Weissbier) made with a high proportion of wheat malt, whitish hue and a slight vanilla flavor. Accommodation in Munich.

DAY 8: Munich (Official Oktoberfest Beer): Today we will visit the major attractions of Munich, where you can taste some Bavarian specialties in the Viktualienmarkt ”, and concluding in the main square “Marienplatz”. In the afternoon, enjoy a typical Bavarian lunch and a Maß beer (1 liter) at the world-famous Hofbräuhaus, official Oktoberfest beer with 5.1% vol. You will have free time to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in a “Biergarten” beer garden (on request). The rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure!

DAY 9: Munich – Klosterweltenburg (Bock) – Nuremberg: Todays tour begins with a trip to the Benedictine Monastery of Weltenburg, the oldest beer producer in the world (since 1050). Be sure to try the Asam Bock beer that won second place as “the best black beer in Germany” (not included). In the afternoon, travel to Nuremberg and enjoy a walking tour with urban history and tasting of Bavarian and Frankish cuisine.

DAY 10: Nuremberg – Bamberg (Black Beer) – Kulmbach – Pilsen: In the morning, travel to Bamberg, famous for its beers and its old center (UNESCO Heritage). Here we have arranged a tasting of the Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier (in German “Smoked Beer”), a style of beer typically dark in color and smoky in taste. The smoky taste is due to the smoke produced by the malt on the fire during the brewing process. Next you will visit Kulmbach and the beer museum. Accommodation in Pilsen.

DAY 11: Pilsen (Beer Pilsen): Today we will tour a customer favorite and the name that everyone relates to beer, Pilsen. Visit the legendary Pilsner Urquell beer factory, where you will learn about the ingredients with which Pilsner beer is made. The culmination of the tour is a tasting of natural beer, without filtration, in the historic cellar. Recommendation: visit of the medieval center.

DAY 12: Pilsen – Ceske Budejovice/Budweis: Today we depart to Ceske Budejovice (or Budweis, in German), where you will get to know another great producer of Czech beers: Budweiser Budvar. This beer has a strong maltose flavor and a medium bitterness. Golden yellow, it is produced based on saaz, one of the most famous hop varieties in the world. Did you know that the name Budweiser has been in dispute between two companies since 1907, one Czech and one from the US? This tour will answer all your Budweiser questions, even ones you didn’t know you had! Accommodation in Ceske Budejovice.

DAY 13: Ceske Budejovice/ Budweis – Prague: Depart to the “golden city” and the capital of Czech Republic, Prague. Here we will visit the historic center and its main historic and cultural attractions. After the city tour, you’ll have time free to enjoy the city at your leisure. We recommend you dine at the Prague Beer Museum & Pub, which offers a giant selection of more than 30 of the best craft beers on tap in the Region, live music and traditional food. Accommodation in Prague.

DAY 14: Prague (Lager Beer): After breakfast, we will visit the Sataropramen Center, part of the historic building complex of the brewery in the old industrial district of Prague. Our interactive tour will take you on a journey from the brewery’s foundation to its modern day operation. Premium beer tasting, light lager type, has a flavor with a soft note of malt and a slight bitterness, 5% vol. Accommodation in Prague.

DAY 15: Prague – Airport: Breakfast. At the agreed time private transfer to Prague airport.
