Discover the best flavors of Sicily while enjoying the views of Etna countryside.
Start your wonderful culinary travel at 10:00 with a pick-up from your accommodation by a native authorized local guide/ driver. Continue your trip driving through typical Sicilian villages admiring local and authentic lava stone houses, orange and lemon plantations, olives and almond trees while listening to charming stories about Sicilian culture, tradition and food. Proceeding up until 1000 meters above sea level, you will discover the breathtaking Etna territory. Here, enjoy views of the best Etna vineyards surrounded by frames of lava stones.

After 45 minutes of driving, you will stop at the first venue, an antique family run winery, where you will be welcomed by the owner with a glass of cool rose prosecco. After a guided visit of cellars, you will start your wine tasting with cold appetizers in an astonishing lava stone open-air amphitheater. Tasting will include: one glass of Etna white wine, one glass of Etna red wine, locally produced cheeses, salami, artichokes, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and olive oil bruschetta.

Your second stop will be in an antique and unique farmhouse just 10 minutes’ drive from the winery. Here, you will continue your food and wine tour in a shadowy open-air terrace overlooking beautiful vineyards, farms, and flowers. Tasting will include: 2 glasses of local Etna wines, ricotta cheese with marmalade, grilled mushrooms, grilled sweet pepper, vegetable omelet, fried cheese and 2 different tasting of pasta with seasonal local ingredients (black pork sauce, mushrooms, pistachio, aubergines, asparagus etc.).

Continue your food and wine tour driving 5 minutes to reach the third venue, a floral culinary country estate where you will taste grilled meat of the day (vegetarians will be served with grilled vegetables) accompanied by a glass of typical wine. A Sicilian dessert will conclude your gastronomic experience. Your local guide/ driver will bring you back to your accommodation. Expected return will be at 15:00.
