DAY 1 SÃO MIGUEL: PONTA DELGADA
Arrival at Ponta Delgada. Assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight in Ponta Delgada.

DAY 2 SÃO MIGUEL:  FULL DAY NORDESTE 
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Ponta Delgada towards one of the biggest tourist attractions in the municipality of Nordeste – Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, where waterfalls and water mills are surrounded by lush and diverse vegetation. The tour continues to the center of the village of Nordeste, a village with a beautiful architectural heritage, such as the Matriz de São Jorge and the churches of Nossa Senhora da Luz or the chapels of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, dating from 1529, the village is known for its beautiful gardens and well-kept streets, where flowers seem to bloom around every corner. Continuing to the viewpoints in the northeast of the island: Ponta do Arnel, Ponta do Sossego and Ponta da Madrugada, these viewpoints are known for their manicured and colorful gardens that offer a magnificent view where the cliff drops sharply towards the sea. Lunch at local restaurant. The next stop will be in Povoação, located in the most southeastern part of the island, where the first Portuguese navigators arrived. Viewpoint of Salto do Cavalo and return to Ponta Delgada along the North Coast of the Island.

DAY 3 SÃO MIGUEL: FULL DAY FURNAS 
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Ponta Delgada towards Vila Franca do Campo, which was the capital of São Miguel Island and has one of the best-known sweets in the Azores accompanied by magnificent landscapes. The tour continues to the Furnas valley, with the option of a thermal bath in the morning at the terra nostra botanical garden with swimming pool and natural jacuzzis. Lunch, served in a local restaurant, is the famous “Cozido das Caldeiras”. Visit the boilers and fumaroles in the center of the parish. The tour continues to the Pico do Ferro Viewpoint, overlooking the largest and oldest caldera on the island. Descent to the north side of the island, with a visit to the Gorreana tea plantations, unique in Europe for years, with the possibility of tasting and buying tea. On the way back to Ponta Delgada, a stop is made at the Santa Iria viewpoint. Return to Ponta Delgada.

DAY 4 SÃO MIGUEL: FULL DAY SETE CIDADES AND LAGOA DO FOGO
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Ponta Delgada with a stop on the outskirts of the city to visit the pineapple greenhouses, to discover the peculiar way in which this tropical fruit is cultivated in the Azores. The tour continues towards the westernmost part of the island, where the mountains and lagoon of Sete Cidades are located. Stop at the Vista do Rei viewpoint, one of the most important panoramic views of the island, from where you can see the famous lagoon, asleep inside an enormous volcanic crater. Descent to the village of Sete Cidades, an authentic portrait of rural life in São Miguel. Lunch served at local restaurant. The tour continues towards the north coast of the island to visit the city of Ribeira Grande and its surroundings. In the parish of Ribeira Seca, we will make a short stop at a Renaissance fountain, which bears witness to times gone by. Arriving at the city center, we can already see the baroque architecture of the buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries, of which we will visit the most important ones, in a short walk. Before leaving the city, stop to enjoy the beautiful volcanic sand beaches. Now taking the mountain road, we head towards the interior of the island, visiting the area of Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande, a thermal area surrounded by vegetation. The tour continues to the viewpoint over Lagoa do Fogo. The landscape is beautiful. Descending the mountain towards the seaside of the south coast, return to the city of Ponta Delgada.

DAY 5 SÃO MIGUEL
Breakfast at the hotel. Whale Watching in Ponta Delgada – +/- 3 hours. Azores: an oasis of marine life for scientists, species, and enthusiasts. A trip planned by biologists and guides and programmed to provide the most meaningful moments. An experience of encounter and knowledge about the ocean and the species. Instants eternalized in memories that testify to authentic freedom! The breath of the blue whale or the leaps of the dolphins, as close as the heartbeat, inside the chest. A toast to life, in the middle of the ocean, on this path of foam, surprise and intensity! (Transfers for the activity not included) Afternoon (or morning) free for personal activities. DAY 2 TERCEIRA: HALF DAY VISIT ANGRA DO HEROISMO

IN PRIVATE: HD Angra do Heroísmo walking tour.
Visit on foot to the center of Angra do Heroísmo, a UNESCO World Heritage city since 1983. At 9:00 am or 2:00 pm, departures from hotels in Angra do Heroísmo, visiting the following places: Convento São Gonçalo (entrance included), Palácio dos Bettencourt, Sé Catedral dos Açores (entrance included), Convent of Hope, Teatro Angrense; Palace of the Captains-General (entrance included), Jardim Duque da Terceira, Praça Velha, Town Hall, Church of Misericórdia, Marina of Angra do Heroísmo with a view of the Fortress of S. João Batista, stop at Casa de Bordados. Along the way, you can stop at one of the city’s cafes for a cup of coffee and eat a typical sweet, as well as buy some typical Azorean handicrafts, particularly from Terceira Island. (Most of the monuments are closed on Sundays and Mondays). Afternoon (or morning) free for personal activities.

REGULAR TOUR: Historical and Cultural Angra do Heroismo (2hours)
There are only good reasons to visit Angra do Heroísmo and there’s nothing better than opting for our City Circuit, which runs through the arteries of the Angrense city, along 12.95km.
You will be able to contemplate around 30 points of interest in the World Heritage city, going back centuries in its history and culture, listening to the texts of our audio guide.

DAY 3 TERCEIRA: FULL DAY TERCEIRA

IN PRIVATE: Full day visit Terceira
Departure from the city of Angra Heroísmo towards Monte Brasil. Crossing the east side of the island, we pass through the parishes of Ribeirinha, Serretinha, Porto Judeu where we have the opportunity to see Baía da Salga, Salgueiros, Porto Martins and finally we arrive at the city of Praia da Vitória. We stop for a short walk in the city visiting the Praia da Vitória matrix. We continue our journey to Serra do Facho to enjoy the magnificent view of the city of Praia da Vitoria. Then we will go to Serra do Cume to contemplate the beautiful landscape of “Manta de Retalhos”. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we will visit the oldest church from the island. Continuing our tour, we will continue through the interior, where we can visit Algar do Carvão, Furnas do Enxofre and some Tentaderos. We continue towards the parish of Biscoitos, with a visit to the famous bathing area. On the way back, we will also pass through the Freguesias dos Altares, passing at Lagoa das Patas, Doze Ribeiras, St. Barbara and Cinco Ribeiras. Return to Angra do Heroism for visit to C.I. of the Azores embroidery.
