DAY 1: Welcome to Florence: Upon arrival in Rome, make your way directly from the airport to the High Speed train to Florence. There will be a private transfer to your hotel. Time at leisure.

DAY 2: Florence: Tuscan cooking class and San Lorenzo Market tour: Today a qualified chef will help you to prepare a mouth-watering Tuscan menu in a cozy kitchen. Your class begins inside San Lorenzo Market, where you can buy and taste the ingredients for your lunch while wandering the produce-packed stands. Then it’s into the kitchen and a hands-on experience of preparing typical dishes: from the appetizer to the dessert, everything is based on authentic Tuscan products. Depending on the season, the menu may slightly vary, but it is usually made of bruschetta, different kinds of home-made pasta, sauces for the pasta and a delicious dessert. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! At the end of the lesson you can savor the fruits of your work, as well as tasting the excellent regional wine. Last but not least, impress your friends back home with your cooking skills thanks to our booklet of recipes! Meal(s): Breakfast and lunch

DAY 3: Florence – Val D’orcia Tour: Montalcino’s Brunello, Montepulciano’s noble wine and Pienza’s Pecorino cheese: Explore the beautiful towns of Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano while enjoying two different wine tastings and savoring the famous Pecorino cheese! The tour starts with a wine tasting session in Montalcino, the land of the world-renowned Brunello wine. Here you will be enchanted by the outstanding charm of a beautiful wine cellar. Next you move up to the peak of the town, where a magnificent sight will take your breath away: sunny rolling hills, ancient oaks, picturesque olive groves, scenic country roads winding through perfect vineyards and isolated cypress trees atop hills. The following stop is Pienza, which stands high upon a hill and dominates all the Orcia valley with extraordinary views. Enjoy the cheese tasting session with the famous Pecorino cheese (included in the tour!) and explore the pretty alleyways of this small town at your leisure. The last stop reaches Montepulciano, home to the famous Vino Nobile vineyards and more recently famous for the filming of the vampire movie “New Moon”. Enjoy your second wine tasting session while visiting the dungeon where the wine is stored under the ancient walls of the winery before heading back to Florence. Meal(s): Breakfast and wine tastings

DAY 4: Florence: Explore the Cradle of the Renaissance over two days. If you like, take an optional excursion to Tuscany ($), or just enjoy Florence on your own. Meal(s): Breakfast

DAY 5: Florence – Cinque Terre Tour: Our excursion from Florence to Cinque Terre National Park is an unforgettable day devoted to the discovery of one of the most amazing and enchanting landscapes in the world. Five (Cinque) villages, hanging between sea and land, a place where you can immerse yourselves in paradise, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Our visit begins at daybreak, with the arrival at Riomaggiore: the village, dating back to the early thirteenth century, is famous for its historic character and local wine. You can admire the houses leaning one against the other and stroll along the narrow cobble alleyways and sheltered paths. We then reach Manarola by walking along the famous “Via dell’Amore” (The Path of Love) a romantic and evocative walk known from the rocks falling sheer into the sea. The tiny harbor has a boat ramp and picturesque buildings clinging to the ravine. Our journey continues to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village considered “The Pearl of the Cinque Terre”, where you will be awed by its enchanting beaches and the lush vegetation encircling the little town. Here you will have free time to plunge into the crystal sea and sunbathe, before taking the boat to Vernazza, a seaside town surrounding a small natural port. As well as comfortable clothes and shoes, we recommend you bring your swimwear! Meal(s): Breakfast and dinner

DAY 6:  Florence: Ferrari and Bologna Tour: Be seduced by Italian good living, cross Tuscany borders and discover the enchanting Emilia Romagna region, where the roar of a Ferrari engine, delicious food and quaint squares will be your travel companions. During the years Emilia Romagna has become the ultimate land of hospitality, combining traditional flavors with modern technologies. The first stage of this enlightening quest will be one of the symbols of the region, the world renowned Ferrari Museum in Maranello. Experience the legend of the “Prancing Horse” and “live the dream”   through an exhibition of images, vintage cars, F1 single-seaters and admire the trophies won by the Ferrari racing teams all over the world and years.  After the visit, tickle your palate and your senses visiting the world’s largest agri-food park, the spectacular “Fico Eataly World”. The art of food processing and biodiversity will no longer have secrets for you after visiting these 2 hectares of open-air fields and stables, housing more than 200 animals and 2000 cultivars. Taste the best traditional Italian delicacies as Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto DOP and the unbelievably delicious balsamic vinegar of Modena and finally get lost in this paradise for food lovers! The final stop will be the stunning Bologna, the capital of Emilia Romagna and one of the liveliest Italian cities, characterized by a vibrant and captivating atmosphere. Wander the tiny streets of the town’s centre and be amazed by the magnificent Piazza Maggiore, the heart of the city, dominated by the imposing San Petronio Basilica, with its mesmerizing white and pink marble decorations. DAY 7: Florence – Fiumicino: After breakfast make your way to the train station for your high speed train to Rome Fiumicino Airport. Transfer to your resort nearby the Airport. Enjoy your time at the spa of the hotel with saunas, sensory baths, and relax areas or reach the city center for your “Arrivederci Roma”. Meal(s): Breakfast

DAY 8: Rome – Airport: After breakfast, transfer to the airport and board your flight home. Meal(s): Breakfast
