DAY 1: Arrival to Dublin: Arrival at Dublin Airport and transfer to the hotel with private car minibus with professional driver. Check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure to start enjoining this very fascinating city. Overnight.
DAY 2: Dublin highlights walking tour, whiskey tour, whiskey blending experience and dinner: In the morning – at 11.00 – you will enjoy a great tour on historic Dublin. This exceptional highlights tour will take in hidden gems and surprises that visitors often miss. Starting from Dublin’s main street, O’Connell Street, traveling North to South, this 2 hour stroll will take in many Dublin icons and guide you to some wonderful hidden spots that too often are overlooked. You will learn about the last violent rebellion in 1916, the history of City Hall and Dublin Castle, the best place to enjoy a night out in Dublin and then finish in the beautiful campus of Trinity College Dublin. Along the way you’ll also see the culturally rich area of Temple Bar, a postbox with a hidden message and an 18th century church with a surprising interior! During the afternoon you will experience another icon of the city, the Irish Whiskey. Enjoy the captivating anecdotes of our talented story tellers as they take you on a journey through the ages revealing the origins of Irish whiskey. To complete your tour, enjoy a whiskey tasting session under the tutelage of our Master Whiskey Tasters exploring the nose, palate and ingredients locked inside premium Irish whiskey brands. One hour and 15 minutes in total – Including a 30 minute guided tour, tasting of 4 varieties of whiskey and blending and sampling of your own unique blend of Irish Whiskey, which is taken away in a personalized miniature bottle. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. In the evening get a great Irish dinner at the restaurant “Winding Stair”, just in front of river Laffey facing Temple Bar. Overnight.
DAY 3: Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and Galway day trip: Enjoy this spectacular day discovering the western part of Ireland and its fantastic landscape. We take an unforgettable journey to the Wild Atlantic Way where you are rewarded with dramatic and breathtaking views. Along with your fellow travelers, discover the best of Ireland’s dramatic coastline including the Burren and the bohemian city of Galway. Be enchanted by Ireland’s thriving west coast. No holiday in Ireland is complete without a trip to the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Visit O’Brien’s Tower, join an interactive video and stroll the clifftop, admiring the panoramic views out to the ocean and the Aran Islands. In good weather, you can have optional lunch next to the cliffs. Another inviting option is to head to the charming village of Doolin for lunch. Doolin is a charming village with excellent food options. Try the seafood! The journey then takes us to the limestone wonder called The Burren, which is a rocky yet fertile landscape for plants and flowers. After we’ve strolled around the Burren, we will visit the historic vibrant city of Galway. We return to Dublin via a different route to ensure you have the opportunity to see more of the delightful west coast. Arrival in Dublin in late evening, rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight.
DAY 4: Giant’s causeway and Belfast day trip: The day will be entirely spent in Norther Ireland territory. The Giant’s Causeway is the must-see World Heritage Site is Northern Ireland’s most popular visitor attraction. Magnificent seascape and of course the awe-inspiring hexagonal/polygonal stone columns that form the legendary Causeway itself, some of which reach 40 feet (12 meters) into the air. The Giant’s Causeway was declared a World Heritage Site in 1986.Some of the structures , having been subject to several million years of weathering, resemble objects, such as the Organ and Giant’s Boot structures. Follow the trail down and see if you can spot them for yourself. Next we will pass to the outstanding Dark Hedges. Planted 350 years ago this is a dream location for amateur and professional photographers alike. We will then complete the visit with a stop in Belfast. There really is something for everyone in Belfast. Once rated as one of the most dangerous cities in the world during the Troubles, Belfast today is a total different place and you can enjoy some remarkable architecture and some pubs ever. and give your two pence worth on the long standing debate of which pub is the oldest in the city. We return to Dublin giving you have the opportunity to admire the eastern landscape. Arrival in Dublin in late evening, rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight
DAY 5: Departure transfer: Free time for eventual shopping or last self visit before being transferred from the hotel to the airport with private car minibus with professional driver.
