DAY 1: Welcome to Athens Greece: Arrive at Athens International Airport, meet and transfer to your hotel for check in. Remainder of your day at leisure for your first taste of Athens. Discover Plaka, the oldest district of Athens, located under the Acropolis, the only district a visitor may see the Greek capital as it was 100 years ago or enjoy your shopping at Ermou, Kolonaki and Voukourestiou streets. Overnight at your hotel in Athens.

DAY 2: Athens: After your breakfast, depart at indicated time for your Athens Sightseeing tour including the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum. Our expert guide will take you to see the centre of the city, the Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the National library. On your way to the Acropolis you will see the Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and have a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally the famous Parthenon. Your first taste of Athens would not be complete without a visit to the Acropolis Museum, a modern architectural building where, at last, the statues have found their home and admire the wonders and architectural masterpieces of the classical era . Return to your hotel and remaining of your day at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Athens

DAY 3: 4 Day Cruise – Mykonos: Morning transfer to the port of Piraeus  for boarding on the cruise.Depart at 11.30am. First stop is Mykonos (arrive at 6:00pm), the island of the international “Jet-Set”, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches and incredible night life. At 11:00pm depart from Mykonos and sail towards Kusadasi, Turkey. (Breakfast at hotel, Lunch and Dinner on board)

DAY 4: 4 Day Cruise – Kusadasi & Patmos: Two ports of call today, Kusadasi in Turkey and Patmos Island in Greece both filled with important history and sites. Arrive at the port of Kusadasi (7:30am) on the Turkish coast where you will  join a tour to ancient *Ephesus Ship sets sail at 13:00hrs for the Island of Patmos, the Island where Saint John the Divine wrote the book of Revelations. Arrival on the Island of Patmos (5:45pm) and join your tour of the Monastery of Saint John and the Grotto of the Apocalypse (optional) or enjoy your free time at the picturesque town of Scala port. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on board)

DAY 5: 4 Day Cruise – Rhodes: Arrive early morning (07:00hrs) at the Island of Knights, Rhodes where you will join a tour to Acropolis of Lindos and the Citadel of the Knights.

Cruise ship sets sail for Crete and Santorini at 6:00pm. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on board)

DAY 6: 4 Day Cruise – Heraklion (Crete) & Santorini: Today’s first port of call is the Island of Crete and its capital Heraklion (7:00am) where you will have the opportunity to discover the Minoan Palace of Knossos (optional) or discover on your own the “old town” areas of Heraklion, established from medieval times. The Venetian fortress at the harbour gate, strikes visitors first. The pedestrian 25th August Str., a shopping street, is directly opposite the Old Harbour and extends to Lion Square and Morosini Fountain, in the city hub. Departure at 12:00pm to the volcanic island of the Cyclades, Santorini, your the last port of call. Admire upon the cruise ship’s arrival in Santorini (16:30hrs) the spectacular caldera, created by the eruption of the island’s volcano in ancient times and the white washed houses perched on the edge. Discover with your tour (optional) the breathtaking panorama of Oia, the most photographed spot in Greece, known worldwide for its fascinating sunset.  (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on board)

DAY 7: Disembarkation – Athens: Arrive in Piraeus  port at 7:00am and after breakfast, disembark your 3 Day Greek Island Cruise and transfer to Athens hotel . Overnight Athens.  

DAY 8: Visit Mycenae & Epidaurus  – Olympia: After breakfast, depart for your 4 day tour of Classical Greece. Leave Athens by the scenic coastal road and reach the Corinth Canal (short photo stop). Enjoy the imposing landscape in the Corinth Canal’s protected waters, one of the 19th Century world’s engineering masterpieces with history that starts as early as 602 B.C. Continue to Epidaurus with its 4th century B.C. theatre, famous for its astonishing acoustics. The town of Nafplion, your next stop, a modern seaside resort and old town, is crowned by the mighty ramparts at the Palamidi Fortress. The last stop of the day is Mycenae, the Homeric city of Atreides, the city “rich in gold” of the ancient poets. Visit the Lion’s Gate, the Cyclopean Walls and the Royal Tombs. Depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese, Tripoli and Megalopoli. Arrival at your hotel, dinner and overnight

DAY 9: Visit Olympia – Delphi: Enjoy your breakfast and after visit Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the idea and site of the Ancient Olympic Games. Visit the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus and the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, which hosts important treasures such as the famous statue of Praxiteles, Hermes. Continue through Achaia and Rio – Antirio towards Delphi, passing through the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos and Itea. Arrival in Delphi, enjoy your dinner at hotel and overnight. 

DAY 10: Visit Delphi – Kalambaka: Enjoy your breakfast and depart for your tour to Delphi. Located on the slopes of Mount Parnasus, Delphi, once believed as the centre, “Naval” of the Earth, is the home of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. At the oracle of Apollo, Pythia, the high priestess of the temple, under the influence of the ancient god Apollo delivered her famous prophesies. You will also visit the Treasury of the Athenians and the Delphi Museum, which hosts valuable pieces of art like the famous bronze charioteer. Depart for Kalambaka. Enjoy your dinner at hotel and overnight.

DAY 11: Meteora  Monasteries – Athens: After breakfast, visit the breathtaking monasteries of Meteora. Perched on huge granite rocks, the monasteries seem to suspend between earth and sky, providing a magnificent view. Each monastery contains priceless historical and religious treasures. Enjoy your lunch at local restaurant in Kalambaka (not included), before returning to Athens bypassing Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae where a stop will be made to visit the memorial of Leonidas and the brave 300 Spartians. Return to Athens and overnight at hotel.

DAY 12: Departure: Transfer to Athens International  airport.
